The park is located on the beautiful Lauwersmeer and is only 900m away from the Wadden Sea and the crossing to Schiermonnikoog. In addition, the boat crossing to Ameland is also nearby, less than half an hour's drive from the park.

There is plenty to do for young and old both in the park and in the surrounding area. Think of: playgrounds/trampoline/swimming/walking/cycling/bird watching/water sports/fishing/golfing/boating/bowling/play parks/animal parks, visit the seal center, museums, cosy villages or larger cities such as Leeuwarden and Groningen, etc etc.

How nice that you ended up on our site! 

We are Jordy and Esther and have been renting out our cozy chalets in the Wadden area in Lauwersoog, on the border of Groningen and Friesland, since 2024. 

We have 3 young children and thoroughly enjoy everything this beautiful place and the surrounding area has to offer.

 

*From end 2025 we also rent an new-build apartment for 1-6 people in Valencia!
